Addition of a Panel in the back of a dress fabric
Equipment
Having the right tools in hand is an important part of a successful alteration. A pair of sharp scissors allows you to directly perform same cut of the dress, which creates a professional look. Use a panel of fabric that is cut from the same material as the dress to hide completely the alteration. If the equipment is not available, choose the one that coordinates its activities with the dress. Straight and tight seams are easier to achieve with a sewing machine, but one needle and thread work as well. Choose a thread color that blends with the fabric to cover the seam and to less obvious enlargement.
Preparation
Before impairment, preparation of your sewing space with all the tools and concepts you need makes the process faster and easier. If the dress you're expansion is new, wash and dry before sewing. This will soften the tissue and make it easier to handle. Clearly a large table to spread your dress, that will ensure for this measure, cutting and pinning is done accurately. Assemble all your documents in an easy way to access.
Insert the Panel
Before you make the cut for your fabric Panel, take the measurements of your bust and size. This ensures that you insert enough fabric for the dress fits well. If there is a seam at the back of the dress, use a seam Ripper to open it. If not, make a cut in a straight line between the neck of the dress up to size. If the dress has a zipper, remove and discard. Measure and cut the appropriate amount of tissue for the group, leaving enough room for a 1/2 in. seam match the Panel for the dress, alongside the right fabric. Pin the Panel and stitch. Right dress are, try it and make adjustments if necessary.
Tips
To hide the fabric Panel, try adding a style corset top tie. Sew the loops down inside cut from the back of the dress. A piece of Ribbon or cord through the lace loops and attach to the top or bottom. Choose a color that coordinates with the dress. This technique works well if you add a Panel to a wedding dress or cocktail dress. Use smaller fabric panels to enlarge dresses for girls, which extends the life of the dress and saves money. Expansion dresses you can buy items for sale that do not match exactly right and means that you are able to buy second hand clothes and sew them to fit. If you have never added a fabric for a dress front panel, try the technique on a former dress for practice.

Cut shreds in pants
Instructions
1
Put on the jeans that you go to grind. Slightly bend the knees, so they grow into the fabric and you can identify where they are in jeans. Use the fabric marker to make a small dot in the center of each ball. Remove the jeans and place them on a surface flat.
2
Cut two pieces of cardboard from the box that are a bit narrower than the width of each pant leg. Make sure that the length of the pieces are at least 5 inches.
3
Drag a piece of cardboard on each pant leg so that the seams are on the sides of the carton. Make sure that the front of the jeans is upwards. Align the carton is part of the jeans you want to grind. Use the point at the level of the knee to assess where the flap should be in relation to the knee.
4
Cut jeans by using the cutting box of straight lines of different lengths. Do not cut the seams inside or outside of the pant legs or jeans will rip more and disintegrates easily.
5
Make cuts as much as you want, by focusing on the knees and thighs for the straight leg jeans and focusing on the entire length of skinny jeans. Return the Jean and make cuts in the back as well, if you want to deconstruct the front and rear of the jeans.
6
Pull the jeans tight on the carton on the site of the cuts. Change of sandpaper on the cuts, moving slowly from one side to the other. This, until what cuts have frayed.

Adapt a Kimono
Instructions
1
The customer put on the kimono and fix as she plans to wear it on a regular basis. This is necessary because the adjustment in a kimono is largely dependent on how it is attached and accessorized.
2
Look at the crease before the kimono. The kimono should overlap by about 6 inches. Much more than that and the client will spend more time adjusting the kimono to take advantage. Because the body of the kimono is made of a solid strip of material with a front-facing, the easiest way to make the smaller clothing is removed and cut the excess fabric on the sides of the body and attach the sleeves.
3
Ask the customer to that hold his arm out at right angles to his body. Measure the sleeves. The sleeves should hit client at the wrists. PIN, cut the excess fabric and the hem of the garment. If the kimono has sleeves, full that fall behind the body, you're better take the sleeves, apart from the body of the garment and the alteration of the shoulder of the sleeve, and not the cuff.
4
Mark the length of the dress. A traditional kimono should fall right at the top of the legs on a woman; However, few people wear a kimono in a strictly formal point of view, then follow the customer's preference. On a man, the garment falls generally on the knees. PIN, cut the excess fabric and the kimono of the hem.

Work clamp leather boots
Use the laces to tighten boots
To tighten your leather work boots, the easiest method is to strategically bind your laces. Some points along the laces from working in areas of control of the boot. To tighten the boot in the heel, pull the laces at the locations where the boot folds at the ankle. Wrap the laces in this area in the clutches of lacing twice to make sure that they stay in place. To tighten the ankle boot, low calf and toes, tighten the laces on these areas. Use a node of Surgeon of is to ensure that the tight area remains tight. The Great Outdoors Web site describes the node of surgeon as cross laces three times between the legs of lacing. Continue to lace up the boots as usual until the work boot is fully laced.
Add songs to the loose boots
Sometimes no amount of strategic lacing can fix a loose work boot. Leather steel toe work boots are an example. The laces can tighten the toe area. You can still make this boot fit by placing a WAD of wet cloth in the toe. Equip your foot to make sure the right person. Add more fabric or remove it as needed. Dry air to fabric. This is a tighter boot toe. Addition of the insoles in the heel can tighten the shoe to your foot. Use the methods of lacing as well as the fabric of the toe and/or soles to boot leather work to adapt to your foot.
Take care when using water
Some people will tell you to wet the leather boot and dry quickly with a dryer, oven or clothes dryer. Places so make your trunk to the risk of cracking, tearing of the plant and become deformed, especially if there is a steel toe. Wet leather also hardens and is easily damaged. Odors are also a problem. Avoid using water to shrink the leather as it can ruin the work boots.
Keep the right fit
Keep your boots fit keeping them cleaned and packaged with leather conditioner. To allow the work boots wet to dry away from any source of direct heat, including the sunlight in the air. Replace your shoelaces when they are frayed and wash them when they become hardened with dust, mud, or fat.

4
Fold the fabric once entering on the chalk line to prepare for the hem at the level of the fold of iron. Place a cloth on the costume before ironing, to protect tissue against water, stains or burns caused by iron: iron with a cloth also prevents the fabric to an unwanted shine. Fabric iron carefully at the level of the fold using a low setting of cotton and a higher temperature for the wool setting. Repeat on the other leg shirt or pants.
5
Note If the length of the edge of the fabric to be ironed hem is greater by 1 1/2 inches. If so, the excess fabric should be cut. Using a measuring tape, measure 1 1/2 inches of the ironed hem and mark the fabric folded with of tailor's chalk. Repeat the measurement and mark every inch around the shirt or pants leg. To prevent the fabric from unravelling, use pinking shears to cut the excess fabric on the chalk line. If you use straight scissors, apply the sealant liquid seam at the raw edge of the fabric to prevent fraying and allow to dry. Repeat on the other leg shirt or pants.
6
Thread a needle with a single thread that is 18 inches long. Tie wire 1/2 inch of its end keep the jacket or pants backwards. You will be sewing the hems of the sleeves or pants by hand, using a blind spot that produces points that are visible only on one side of the garment.

Bleach and put holes in Jeans
Instructions
Bleach
1
Choose a stylistic preference of Bleach: half immersed, jean whole or acid washed. Create a mixture of bleach with a ratio of 1 cup of bleach 2 cups of water, using waterproof gloves. The total amount that you need will depend on your stylistic approach with the milled appearance. If possible, bleach water outdoors for ventilation; Otherwise, open a window in the area you are working.
2
Fill a bucket with mixture of bleach and water, if you want a water of bleach-dipped half's work. Loop a stick in the belt; The jean has no loops, use a hanger with clips of trousers. Place the stick or the hanger on the edges of the bucket and let the pants legs lie folded into the mix; Remember that bleach creep the fabric about an inch from direct contact. Wait about an hour to make sure that the bottom is completely white.
3
Fill a tub with a few inches of the mixture of bleach and water, for water bleach jean together. Place the flat elongated pants in the bathtub. Wait approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how the light denim is and how white you want.
4
Put the pants on the canvas or plastic, for an acid wash. Be sure that all of the soil around the laundering is covered, or bleach to spill outside. Dip a sponge in the mixture of bleach and water and apply on the jeans by sweeping gently and blot you want to fade. Do not apply a severe with the sponge pressure so that the look is not whiter than what you want. The full bleached effect appears after only fifteen minutes following direct contact; You can reapply if you want a whiter wash.
5
Wash the jeans in the washing machine. Use the cold water and the usual amount of laundry cycle. Make sure that you wash only jeans, as bleach can affect additional clothing.
6
Operate the jeans a second time through the wash cycle to seal the process, using cold water - and add 1 cup of vinegar. Let dry by hanging outside or in a solo dryer.
Make the holes
7
Put on your jeans and mark where you want your tears with a chalk, pencil or some other washable writing utensil. Popular looks include the slots and holes on and around areas of the knee and thigh. Consecutive slots that reach sewing sewing on your knees and upwards to a trendy, calculator watch, while a few random holes of various sizes around your knees and thighs make a more naturally ripped look. After marking, remove the pants.
8
Cut everything right, horizontal slits with a knife or scissors. For a look more hole-like, sew a small incision with scissors or a knife and tear apart with your hands.
9
First the edges of the slots or holes with a textured rock, paper glass, or a file by rubbing the issue repeatedly on the tear. Sandpaper is easier for beginners, because it is a flat surface to manage.
10
Seal cracks and holes with the waterproof fabric glue water by gluing the area fringed inside the pants. Make sure the glue is completely dry before throwing them in the dryer because a lot of tissue adhesives are flammable when it is in liquid form.

Is it possible to shrink Jeggings or make tighter
Instructions
Narrowing DIY
1
Read the label of the fibre content. Stretch cotton mixtures with a high percentage of cotton are prone to shrinkage, but those with a low percentage of spandex - typically less than 5% - have less tissue recovery when the textile is stretched during natural movement. Mixtures of stretch cotton with a high percentage of elastane - 5% or more - tend to damage in the intense heat settings used to shrink cotton, causing synthetics to weaken, break down and eventually lose elasticity.
2
The value of your machine cycle to wash in a hot water temperature setting, even if the label indicates a cold wash. Turn your jeggings upside down and wash with a liquid laundry detergent all-purpose.
3
Place the jegging on a mesh laundry rack and dry flat if your jeggings have a high percentage of elastane. Do not hang the bottom to avoid stretch fibers. If your jeggings have a low percentage of spandex, button strap and Zipper fly front. Put the bottom upside down. Throw them in the dryer at a setting of heat to shrink the.
4
Try on your dry jeggings before a mirror full length. Look at the contour fitted along the seams side as well as the fit around your habits of wear - front pockets, mounted forward, hips, seat back, thighs and knees.
5
Check the length of bottom hem. If your jeggings have a high percentage of cotton, funds tend to shrink transversally and longitudinally.
6
Sit in a Chair and search for comfort around the seat, thighs and knees. Make sure that the hem is not hiking upwards.
7
Rewash your jeggings again in hot water if you are not satisfied with the form or length. Dry flat or in your dryer, depending on the expandable blend. Skip this step if you are satisfied with the result.
Resize and customize your Jeggings
