Instructions

1

Cut your nails with nail Clipper to smooth uneven surfaces and draw the tips of your nails. Sweep on the edge of your nails with a file to further smooth imperfections and prepare the nail with a regular layer of nail polish.

2

Wash your hands with warm water and a little SOAP. Dip a cotton swab in a bit of acetone and scanning on and around all your nails to remove all oils which can interfere with the process of painting. Make sure your hands and nails are dry after cleaning them.

3

Paint the base of your nail with a base layer of nail polish. This coat can be clear, if you want to show your natural nail or it may be a color complementary, such as ivory or black, if you want to highlight the colors that you use for the rose.

4

Place a delicate point in the center of your nail with a pink dotter fingernail or pen. Place another small point that almost completely covers with the initial point but still reveals a slight curve, like a petal. Draw three to five points over also overlap with the Centre point to create a soft and curvy base for the rose. All points should gather in a single smooth shape. Work quickly while the nail polish is still wet. Allowing the base of the rose to dry for about 10 minutes.

5

Draw a shape of half-moon runs on the edge of three bunk points that form the base of the rose. This will create a shading and contouring effect. Use a red or pink dark nails dotter and space forms in half pipe around the outside of the rose so that they are not right next to each other.

6

Use the nail dotter draw approximately five to seven delicate, light pink, short semicircles in the centre of the rose to create the ruffles and folds to the inside of the rose. Allow the rose to dry for about 10 minutes more.

7

Draw a triangular sheet next to the pink form using a green dotter nail. A sheet edge must touch the rose and the other two must slope slightly outward. Fill in the form of the leaf with green dotter nail. Add a second or third leaf if you are working with a nail bigger as the nail of the middle or the thumbnail. Allow to dry completely.

8

Apply a coat of clear finish on the form pink and allow to dry completely.
