Prevent scars when you shave
Instructions
1
Exfoliate the skin with a Loofah, shower or scrub gloves before shaving to loosen dead cells clog and razors dull skin. A dull razor more easily snags and affects your pressure of the hand while shaving.
2
Select a new razor or change the old blades for each new shave.
3
Of the smooth lines and low pressure against the skin. Hard pressure increases the risk of accidental cuts.
4
Immediately stop the flow of blood from nicks and cuts. Dip a tea bag in cold water and apply to the Cup to slow down the bleeding, or wet the tip of a styptic pencil and press it against the cut. Use tea which is rich in tannins, such as black tea or oolong, as tannin helps stop the bleeding. Apply at least 5 minutes of deep pressure, heavily bleeding of cuts with a tissue.
5
Apply aftershave lotion containing Witch Hazel to slow bleeding and prevent infection.
6
Place a small amount of topical antibiotic gel on each cut to prevent the infection, which can increase the appearance of the scar. If necessary, place a band-aid on the cut.
7
Moisturize the skin after shaving to keep it soft and supple. For the face, use a mild facial, balm moisturizer after shaving or aftershave, which are non-fatty and does not clog the pores. For the body, select a lotion with an anti-inflammatory ingredient such as menthol or lactic acid to help soothe the skin and prevent razor burn bumps.
8
Treat the ingrown hairs without delay, because they form bumps that increase shaving accidents. Cling to the base of each hair played with a clean needle and pull gently to the skin.
