Wash your face with a cleanser gentle without granules. Cleaners containing granules can create tiny tears in the skin which increases the production of melanin. Leave the cleaner on the skin for at least one minute thoroughly clean skin. Rinse with warm water.

Apply a serum of scar-discoloration, cream or gel packed with vitamin C, Kojic or arbutin every morning acid to equalize your skin and help reduce the red marks. To prevent skin irritation, choose a product formulated for your skin type.

Minimize the effects of (HSP) with products having hydroquinone and retinol. HSP occurs when the skin creates extra melanin. Hydroquinone is a bleaching agent that blocks the production of melanin around areas of red or Brown, while the retinol exfoliates the skin, smooth lines and helps fade discoloration. Apply every night, an amount about the size of a pea to the scars or the red marks of the fingers, to avoid irritating your skin.

Squeeze the juice of a whole lemon in a small plastic bowl. Dilute the lemon juice with 1 cup water. Moisten the edge of a fabric or a small towel with diluted lemon juice. To fade fade, rub the fabric gently in scars acne for three to four minutes. Repeat once per day to encourage the growth of new skin and exfoliate the skin.
