Fill a basin of medium height with 3-4 cups of warm water and a teaspoon of dishwashing liquid soft. Agitate the water gently with your hand to create a soapy mixture.

Remove the strands of hair comb, then place it in warm, soapy water. Let the comb remain in water for five minutes. Paper towel to clean the comb to remove the dirt and grime, stuck between the teeth. If you are unable to clean between the teeth of the comb with a paper towel, use a nail brush or an old toothbrush to release difficult to remove dirt.

Rinse the comb in a stream of warm water. Agitate the water by the comb and place on a clean paper towel.

Fill a plastic bowl of medium height with 3 - or 6-percent hydrogen peroxide. Dip your comb in oxygenated water, ensuring that the comb is completely covered. Allow the comb to soak for 10 minutes.

Rinse the comb under a stream of warm water to remove any residue of peroxide. Dry the comb thoroughly with a clean paper towel before using.
