Mix 1 tablespoon of honey and lemon juice 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed. Store-bought lemon juice is also acceptable, but the fresh juice is best. Do not use the lemon juice with artificial sweeteners.

Mix the ingredients until a paste-like consistency, which may require the addition of more honey. Apply a thick layer of the paste of honey and lemon juice directly on your upper lip.

Let the mixture stay on your upper lip for 20 to 25 minutes. Heat helps the lemon juice lighten your unwanted facial hair more effectively. If you want to sit in the Sun and allow rays of touch your face or target one placed on a low or average to your upper lip for five to seven minutes.

Dampen a washcloth with warm water and wipe the mixture of lemon juice and honey. If your hair on the upper lip is not lightened to your satisfaction, reapply a layer thick honey mixture and lemon and leave it for 20 to 25 minutes.
