Avoid spicy foods and hot weather, especially when you're exercising. Both can cause or worsen the excessive sweating. Stick to soft foods and exercise in a room air-conditioned gym or in the morning or evening.

Talk with your dermatologist for more intense treatments such as injections of toxin botulinum or even surgery, when all other products fail. Your doctor may inject a weak form of the toxin to paralyze the sweat glands in the armpits and effectively control sweat. The treatment lasts from four to six months. Surgery is permanent and is to remove the sweat glands.
