Instructions

Wash the trousers in the washing machine with a color stripper. Follow anti-money laundering printed on the care label of garment as well as the instructions of the manufacturer for the color remover.

Remove the pants from the wash and set aside while they are still damp.

Fill a large pan with 1 gallon of warm tap water, and then heat water on the stove to simmer.

Put on a pair of rubber gloves and cover your work area with newspapers while heating water.

Pour the water simmering in a large bucket or container and, if necessary, add hot water in the bucket to raise the level of the water. The bucket should contain enough water for the pants be completely submerged so that they move freely when you stir them later.

Read the dye from the manufacturer and add the recommended amount of dye in the bucket. Add other ingredients such as vinegar, salt, laundry or dishwashing for the dye bath only if the manufacturer recommends.

Stir the dye with utensil bath long stirring until the water is black and the dye is dissolved.

Add pants for the dye bath. If sure that equipment is fully submerged the dye.

Stir the dye bath continuously from 10 to 20 minutes, and then occasionally for 15 minutes.

Remove the pants when the desired colour is obtained.

Rinse the pants in a clean sink with hot water.

Progressively reduce the temperature of the water to cool until the dye no longer works since the pants.

Follow the instructions of the manufacturer for laundering freshly dyed clothing. If no instructions are provided, washing the pants only, warm, with a mild detergent.

Hang the pants to dry in the air.
